Carlo Amatucci is Full Professor of Commercial Law at the Department of Political Science of the University of Naples Federico II.
His primary research interests deal with Corporate Governance, CSR, Financial Regulation and Insolvency Law.
He is member of the Research Doctorate Board in Commercial Law at the State University of Milan.
He is coordinator for the Erasmus programs with: Universidad Complutense de Madrid, University of Vilnius, University of Latvia, Université Nice Sophia-Antipolis and the University of Helsinki.
He is responsible of the Cooperation Agreements with the University of Saint Petersburg – where he annually organizes seminars in the field of Company and Commercial Law - the Université Nice Sophia-Antipolis and People’s University of China, where he has been visiting professor of “EU Company Law” at the International Summer School.
He is member of the editorial board of Vestnik (Law Journal of Saint Petersburg University), of Lex Russica (Kutafin Moscow State Law University) and of other Italian Law Journals (Rivista di Diritto dell’Impresa, Giurisprudenza commerciale).
He joined the Société de Législation Comparée (Paris 1869).
He is member of the Naples Bar and his practice covers the whole range of corporate law, business and financial contracts, insolvency and restructuring.
He is Arbitrator of the panel for international and investment disputes of the Arbitration Centre at the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP/ACRU) and member of the Riga Arbitration Court (Latvia).
